Community Heart Care

Save Your Heart

A community heart care bus bringing free heart screening directly to your neighbourhood — run by Revathi Medical Center in partnership with Rotary.

Heart care that comes to you

Screening out of the hospital — into the community

Not everyone who needs a heart check-up makes it to a hospital in time. The Save Your Heart Community Heart Care Bus is a fully equipped mobile heart care unit that takes screening into workplaces, neighbourhoods, and towns across the Tirupur region.

On board are a doctor, nurses, a consultation room, and portable ECG and Echo equipment — the essentials of a heart check-up, brought to your doorstep. Screening on the bus is free.

Maintained and run by Revathi Medical Center through the Revathi Cardiac and Vascular Institute, in partnership with the Rotary Club of Tirupur Gandhi Nagar and Rotary International District 3203, under Global Grant Project No. GG2238216.

Why it matters

A heart attack kills one person every 33 seconds in India.

Heart disease often develops quietly. Many people carry risk factors — high blood pressure, diabetes, a family history of heart attack — without obvious symptoms. A short, free screening can surface those risks early, while they are still manageable.

Do not wait. Get screened.

Why RMC runs this bus

  • RMC brought advanced cardiac care to Tirupur, reducing the need to travel to Coimbatore for angioplasty and cardiac intervention.
  • The Cardiovascular Interventional Lab performs 5,000+ diagnostic and interventional procedures every year.
  • 6,000+ cardiac procedures and 500+ open-heart surgeries performed to date.
  • The first hospital in Tirupur district to offer 4D Echocardiography.
  • 24×7 emergency cardiac care, supported by ICU-grade ambulances.

If a screening finds something that needs attention, patients can be referred directly into RMC's cardiology and cardiothoracic services.
